1. Who We Are
Kansara Nyati is a community records application for Rajasthan Kansara Samaj members. The service helps registered members and authorized community administrators maintain family records, lineage, member details, matrimonial information, and community updates.
Maeko Tech Solutions LLP may provide technical development, hosting, maintenance, and support services for the application on behalf of the Kansara Nyati community administrators.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how the service is used, we may collect and process the following information:
- Account and login details such as name, registered phone number, encrypted password credentials, role, and access status.
- Member profile details such as name, gender, date of birth, education, occupation, marital status, native place, city, district, state, and family head information.
- Contact details such as phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, postal address, and GPS/address details when provided by the member or administrator.
- Family relationship details such as father, mother, spouse, children, siblings, family tree, gotra, and lineage records.
- Matrimonial profile details and preferences, including whether contact details should be visible in matrimonial profiles.
- Profile photos, media, documents, and other content uploaded by members or authorized administrators.
- Technical information such as device identifiers, app version, IP address, API logs, error logs, authentication events, notification status, and basic usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To create, verify, update, and display community member and family records.
- To provide search, family tree, family chart, matrimonial, report, notification, and dashboard features.
- To authenticate users, manage access permissions, prevent misuse, and secure the application.
- To help community administrators verify and correct member records.
- To send operational messages such as approvals, record updates, birthdays, and other community notifications.
- To troubleshoot technical issues, improve app reliability, and maintain backups and audit records.
4. Matrimonial Contact Visibility
Matrimonial contact details are treated carefully. Where the application provides a setting such as "Show phone and WhatsApp in matrimonial profiles," those contact details are intended to be visible only when the member or authorized administrator enables that option. Other profile details may still be visible to authorized users as part of community and matrimonial search features.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell member personal information. Information may be shared only in limited cases:
- With registered members, family members, managers, or administrators as required by app features and access permissions.
- With technical service providers such as hosting, storage, database, analytics, security, notification, or maintenance providers needed to run the service.
- When required to comply with applicable law, legal process, security requirements, or a valid government request.
- When necessary to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of the community, members, application, or service providers.
6. Location and Address Information
The application may allow members or administrators to enter address or GPS-based address details. This information is used for community records, maps, family location context, and member profile management. Location/address details should only be entered when accurate and permitted by the concerned member or family.
7. Photos, Media, and Documents
Uploaded photos, media, and documents are used to support member profiles, family records, reports, and community media features. Members and administrators should avoid uploading content that they do not have permission to share.
8. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as it is needed for community record keeping, app operation, legal compliance, backup, security, and dispute resolution. Some family and lineage records may be retained for long-term community continuity unless an authorized deletion or correction request is approved.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, authentication, role-based permissions, database protections, backups, and server-side monitoring. No online system is completely secure, so members should keep login details confidential and report suspected misuse promptly.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Members may request help from authorized administrators to:
- View, correct, or update their profile and family information.
- Change matrimonial contact visibility settings where available.
- Request correction of inaccurate family, relationship, address, or contact details.
- Request deletion or restriction of information, subject to community record requirements, security, legal obligations, and backup limitations.
11. Children's Information
Family records may include details of minors when entered by family members or authorized administrators for lineage and family record purposes. Such information should be provided only by persons who have appropriate family authority or consent.
12. Third-Party Services
The application may use third-party services for hosting, storage, maps/geocoding, authentication, app integrity, notifications, analytics, or error monitoring. These providers may process limited technical data as needed to provide their services and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, community processes, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
